It was delightful to go to oz to visit my family and get to see two wonderful additions to our family.Thomas and Benjiman! Two litle bundles of Joy ,laughter a few tears and a whole lot of yummy fun!
It wasnt a lazy holiday as one would imagine when one takes a break away from the metropolis of Tokyo .I was woken up every morning with the squeals of the boys ready for a new day.Excited and raring to go.
I was taking camp in the living room so invariably would be awoken at 8 by thomas (the early riser ) tottering in to cautiously take a look at the comatose bundle under the duvet.
Now,I am not an early riser and it seems that the majority of parent talk is surrounded around legnth of sleep.India its the consisitency of your pooh,Thailand ,the number of buckets you drank,U.K ,the state of the weather,U.S,The state of the state blah blah blah de blah.In parentdom its sleep.I have to say I am not a mornning person but for the two weeks I was visiting I looked forward to the morning. It was pure magic to see the smiling faces and the pure focus on the tractor or the Wheels on the bus or the litle piece of string found in the carpet....basically anything that can be toyed with......Joy, Pure joy.
20 months is the legnth of thier time so far with us and its amazing to see them hoover up new words and ,in my time there making sentences.I think they got my name but it came out as "rah".They certainly understood the meaning of "Sarah Swing" which consisited of me scooping them up and swinging them from side to side with great Gusto and throwing them (gently of course ) onto the sofa! This would invariably have them in fits crying "mo,mo"
Anyways I witter on and the reason I guess is because I am head over heels! I miss Thomas and Benjamin so much.Yea I am broody Yes I want some sprogs at some point and yes I will.........but for the time being while I get my house in order I will adopt these!
